Public spaces are shared by everyone
Every day, thousands of children and families use playgrounds, park benches, picnic tables, handrails, and recreational facilities across our communities.
These high-touch surfaces can accumulate dirt, bacteria, viruses, and other contaminants throughout the day. While municipalities work hard to maintain parks, many public spaces lack dedicated sanitization programs focused specifically on frequently touched play equipment.
For young children, who naturally explore through touch, maintaining cleaner play environments can contribute to healthier recreational experiences.
PurePlay Philly exists to help fill that gap.
